Our Process
Step 1 : Job Prep
​
Our Unique Edging Crew will arrive at your home and paint the areas where you would like curb installed.
Step 2: Sod Removal
​
Next, we use a sod cutter to cut out the areas where we will be installing concrete edging.
Step 3: Concrete Mixing
​
Our Unique Edge Crew will mix concrete on site to the color you have selected. This eliminates having heavy equipment or concrete trucks on your property.
Step 4: Curb Extruding
​
The concrete is then shoveled into our machine hopper and extruded with steel braided cable running through the curb to reinforce the durability of the edging.
Step 5: Hand Finish
​
After the curb has been extruded, we meticulously hand trowel to follow the contour of your landscape design.
Step 6: Impression and Cut Control Joints
​
Once hand troweling is finished, we roll on the impression stamp and the accent color that you have chosen. As well as cutting in control joints as needed to help with the freeze/thaw cycle.
Step 7: Clear Coat
​
We then apply a coat of acrylic sealer on the entire surface of the curb. This is where the magic happens and the impression comes to life.
